BOOKCASE FOR TOLERANCE
BOOKCASE FOR TOLERANCE
A look behind the bookcase.
In 1942, Anne Frank moved into a secret annex concealed by a custom-built bookcase. 80 years later, people are facing growing antisemitism, racism and inequality.
Anne Frank's iconic bookcase was transformed into an AR app, serving as a portal for users to step inside the true-to-life rooms of Anne Frank and four young people suffering modern day persecution, whose stories were told through personal objects and audio testimonials. The Bookcase For Tolerance aimed to fight discrimination through education.
